*Intermission ends*
*Some time later Henry wants to rest but Percy is telling Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo about his adventure.*
Percy: It was raining hard. Water and wind stung my eyes. I couldn't really see where I was going, but with Pinkie Pie's help I struggled on!
Applebloom: Wow, Percy, you really are brave.
Scootaloo: Yeah. Almost as brave as Rainbow Dash. Maybe if we pay good attention to you we'll be able to find our talents.
Percy: Well it was nothing, really. Water is nothing to one with determination.
Sweetie Belle: Tell us more, Percy! Tell us more!
*Then Henry comes in*
Henry: What are you three doing here? This is for those who work for Sir Topham Hatt. Shoo! Silly little buggers.
*The 3 sadly leave. Percy feels cross*
Percy: They are not silly!
Henry: They are too silly, and so are you. "Water's nothing to one with determination". Huh!
Percy: At least I never stopped a train inside a tunnel just because I didn't want my engine's paintjob to get ruined in the rain.
*Henry's eyes go wide.*
Percy: I'm not afraid of water, I like it. *Walks off singing* Once a Goofball driving a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain.
Henry: *To the audience, annoyed* No one ever let's me forget that incident.
*Later Percy arrives at the Harbor with Pinkie Pie. There he sees Thomas and Twilight looking at a board on the quay.*
Thomas: *Reading Board* "Danger, Engines must NOT pass this board". *To Percy* We can't drive our engines past it. That's orders.
Percy: Why?
Twilight: Danger means falling down something.
Thomas: Right. I drove past a danger sign once and my engine went down a mine.
Pinkie Pie: *Looks around* I can't see a mine.
Percy: Me neither.
*What they didn't realize was that the foundations of the Quay had sunk. The rails now sloped downward into the sea.*
Percy: Stupid board.
*Percy began to make a plan. One day, before he was beginning to take a goods train to the Harbor, he whipsered to the delinquents who would sometimes sneak on trains and cause trouble.*
Percy: *Whispering* Would you push my engine past the danger sign when we get to the Quay?
*The delinquents had never been asked to purposly cause trouble. This makes them excited*
Percy: No one knows my plan.
*They soon get to the Harbor*
Percy: *To himself* I'll pretend to stop, but then the delinquents will push me pass the board. Then I'll make them stop. I can do that whenever I like.
*But Percy made a huge mistake; never trust delinquents*
Delinquents: Go on! Go on!
*The Delinquents start pushing the train on. Causing Percy to nearly fall out of his engine and accidentally release the brakes*
Percy: Oh!
*The engine slides past the board closer to the sea*
Percy: That's enough, lads!
*But it was too late. The train plunges into the water up to the top of the smokebox. Percy wants to get out but the water keeps him from opening the cab door. Pinkie Pie is nearby and sees this*
Pinkie Pie: Are you alright Percy?
Percy: Well besides being in water, yes.
Pinkie Pie: Uh oh. I think You-know-who is coming.
*Sir Topham Hatt appears on a boat*
STH: Well well well. What do we have here?
Percy: Please sir. Get me out sir. I'm very sorry sir.
STH: I'm sorry Percy, but we can't get you or your engine out until High Tide. I hope this will teach you to take better care of yourself.
Percy: Yes sir.
*That night, floating cranes were brought to lift Percy's engine out of the water onto a flatbed. Percy was too cold and stiff to open the cab door by himself, so Thomas and Twilight had to help him. Poor Percy was shivering.*
Percy: *Shivers*
*The next morning, Percy's Engine was to be taken to the Works on Henry's Goods Train. Henry was getting ready to go when he hears Percy sneeze. He goes and sees Percy wrapped in thick blankets and has a thermometer in his mouth. He had gotten himself a cold from being in that cold water for so long.*
Henry: *Chuckles* Well well well. Did you like the water?
Percy: No. *Sneezes*
Henry: I am surprised. You need more determination Percy. Water's nothing to one with determination you know. Perhaps you'll like it better next time. *Leaves*
Percy: There isn't going to BE a next time. *sneezes*
*End of Episode*
